VCG developed the Title Order Management website for Chicago Title, one of the biggest title service companies in the US.
The main purpose of the application is to interact with Calyx Point , a commercial software to request title, then export that information to a centralized database and present it in a website. This automated process helps the client to have an easier administration, reporting and status monitoring of orders in comparison to their previous process which relied mostly on exchanging information by email.
The system communicates with Calyx Point using the web services technology in order to obtain title requests on real time and store it on the client’s database. The website gives the users the flexibility to choose whether or not they want to receive email alerts with direct links to the new orders and to see on the main page the amount of placements that still have not been opened by the logged user. It also includes quick links and a customized search form to access the orders information , and automatic order reports sent by email that help the management to review the attention that has been given to each request.
